My career has spanned over five decades.


I have had the privilege of navigating the ever-changing landscape of technology and entrepreneurship.


My professional journey began in 1963 as a banker.


I completed a two-year apprenticeship and discovered my passion for programming.


I started coding in COBOL and assembler language.


I even wrote a small program that was entirely binary.


I also studied accounting with an emphasis on cost accounting.


This allowed me to work for a while as an internal auditor. I even got an award for an audit.


The audit recommended the best worldwide cost cuttings of an international company.


Over the years, I've worked in various challenging roles.


Including being a programmer, system analyst, IT manager, and entrepreneur.


I have had the opportunity to work at and with renowned companies. Including Siemens, Intel, and Altech.


In the 1990s, I transitioned into the cable assembly business.


As an owner, I could apply my technical expertise to install electronic systems.


Including accounting and payroll software (Sage/Pastel).

Email marketing systems (Mailchimp and Systeme.io), and an e-commerce platform (Big Commerce).


Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong passion for technology and innovation.


I have researched SEO extensively and created successful blogs on technical subjects.


My latest project is this website.


I like to share my knowledge and expertise with small business owners.


At heart, I'm still a "techie" with a drive to learn and adapt to new technologies.
